Ash: I'm feeling relaxed. How about you?
Valentine: I'm still shocked you have your own private island.
Ash: Sometimes it's handy to have a place to work in international waters.


Valentine: Shouldn't we be able to see the house by now?
Ash: We should. Wait here and I'll go take a look.


Ash: MY HOUSE!

 

 


Eric: You're back!


Valentine: Eric, what happened? Where's the house?


Eric: A couple of nights ago Nightshade came over with her new minions. She heard Ash was away and came to loot the lab.


Eric: I tried to stop her and Himemiya came too, but Nightshade asked who Himemiya was and I said she was another of Ash's sex-bots and Himemiya got REALLY angry.


Eric: So Himemiya said "I'm not a sex bot! You're just ashamed of having a Jinn around like all the other stupid smelly humans!" and Nightshade was like "What? A Genie?" and Himemiya got even madder and went on a tirade about sterotyping in the media, and Nightshade's minions tried to grab me, and Himemiya started throwing fireballs at them, and then things started exploding, and pretty soon we were all running out of the house because it was coming down.


Eric: I'm sorry! Now Ash's house is destoyed and Nightshade knows about Himemiya, and--
Ash: Nightshade knows about Himemiya?


Eric: I'm sorry!
Ash: It's not enough to be mortal, you have to be in mortal danger too?
Eric: I didn't mean for this to happen!


Ash: This is why I told you to stop making wishes! People always get in trouble when they get what they want handed to them!
Eric: But... I didn't make any wishes.
Ash: Then how was Himemiya out of her lamp?

Valentine: Um, that was me.


Ash: You...?
Valentine: I just wished for her to look after Eric while we were gone! She likes Eric. She always asks about him and was really concerned he might get hurt if he was left alone when he was still getting used to being human.


Ash: Well, what's done is done. You stay here with Eric, I'm going to go find Nightshade.

 


Valentine: So. Outside of the house getting destroyed, how was your week with Himemiya?
Eric: I am really, REALLY glad you guys are back.

Commentary:
You're probably thinking, 'oh my god, did she destory the house for a pic fic?!' Well, no. I just bought a house and in the process of moving discovered that Ash's house was about 2" too wide to get out of the apartment (it was assembled inside). So I had to take a hammer to it. I was going to have Nightshade storming the house anyway, and having the house destoryed seemed to fit in well, so now we'll have a reason why the house is out of service while I put it back together and repair it.

If you paid attention in the last fic, you notice that Eric changed his clothes three times; only three days had passed in that fic, and the food one was on the first day of the week long cruise, which left 4 days for the mayhem to really break out before Ash came home.
