The most popular dress pattern in the shop, it has been completely redone with a new pattern sheet, instructions, and even a 'how to dress' section with pictures! This kimono pattern is well loved because it redesigns the traditional dress in a way that lets it look authentic in miniature while also making it easy to sew and great for beginners. You can make festival-wear yukata and the most formal long-sleeved furisode.

Patterns Included: Long-sleeved furisode kimono, short sleeved yukata
Supplies needed: 1/4 yard fabric, thread/sewing supplies
Difficulty: Easy--would be good for a confident beginner. You can also check out the 'Tutorials' section for free resources on sewing and sizing.

It was a bit confusing at first...

I got this pattern back in 2019 from DG's Etsy shop. I was super confused on how to get it to look right. After looking at full sized kimonos I was able to figure it out. This one will take a little of trial and error but in the end you get a great product with this lovely pattern!

The Classics: Vintage Dresses for Modern Dolls
