This super-simple pattern lets you make a variety of cute, quick-sewing outfits! This is a great pattern for new sewers: there are very few pattern pieces and you can sew it by hand or machine quickly and easily. You can make a simple romper/babydoll, a babydoll with bloomers (works like a petticoat and adds volume to the skirt), a pumpkin-panted romper, or just basic sun dress. Depending on the fabric and trims, dolls can wear it casual or Lolita-style!

Patterns included: Top with attached or separate bloomers & skirt (to make jumper or romper) for Chibi-sized dolls.
Dolls it fits: KikiPop, Kinoko Juice, Real Fee, OMG LOL Surprise, POM Surprise
Supplies needed: 1/4 yard fabric, thread/sewing supplies

This pattern is great for beginners!
It’s a fun outfit to hand sew and I’m so glad that it takes hardly any time.
I often struggle with patience with sewing and I can’t make stitches neat but you don’t even need patience or great stitching work to make this. I’ve only started hand sewing after some time and I’m not perfect and it does take a lot of work.. But first I think understanding basic sewing terms is important to start this and don’t be afraid to start sewing as that is the most important step to becoming a great sewer.

The Classics: Vintage Dresses for Modern Dolls
