German Fairytale

Regular price $6.99

Though you may have never heard the word 'dirndl' you probably recognize the style! Fairytales from the brothers Grimm often feature this folk style, which has also strongly influenced modern western fashion. The awesome thing about dirndls is that the skirt, bodice, blouse all come together to make a traditional look but can be made separately and paired with other things for completely modern styles!

Patterns Included: Layering blouse, bodice with underbust and cross-bust cuts, with and without inserts, dirndl skirt, apron.
Dolls this pattern fits: 16cm (and smaller) tiny BJDs such as Lati Yellow, PukiFee, Tiny Delf, PukiPuki, Obitsu 11cm  This pattern has been redesigned especially for the tiny-tiny dolls, so if you are sewing for the bigger 28cm tinies (ex YoSD) I recommend getting the 28cm version instead.

Supplies needed: 1/4 yard fabric, thread/sewing supplies
Difficulty: Intermediate (puffy sleeves, layering).

Delightful Dirndls!

I was very pleased to find a pattern like this, since I'd missed out on a similar sort of outfit from the Nendoroid Doll series. This pattern resizes easily and fits like a dream. My doll looks so cute in it, and everyone thinks I'm a sewing genius. Nope--I just had a great pattern to go from!
